A Full-Tang Sword, Forged the Old Way
Hand-forged Damascus steel from pommel to point: a 28.5″ patterned blade, a leather-wrapped grip, and a fitted leather sheath for display or transport. At 38.5″ overall, it has the presence of a museum piece and the build of a working blade.
One Billet, One Blade
The blade is hand-forged from folded Damascus steel, so the watery figuring that runs its full 28.5″ length is unique to this sword. Turn it under light and the pattern moves like current in a river.
Full-Tang Strength
The steel runs unbroken from the tip through the leather-wrapped grip to the pommel. That full-tang construction is the difference between a display piece that can work and a wall-hanger that can’t.

The item arrived swiftly, with a few missing pieces to the handle. I knew I didn’t want it blue, so I ripped the original blue ‘leather’ off and replaced it with my own leather. FYI, the material under the handle is aluminum, I believe. Non-magnetic light grey coloring. Do with that what you will. Also, when I ordered lengths were not listed, so here you go: The blade is 38 inches. It’s a big ol’ sword. Very good quality.

On initial inspection the sword looks very beautiful. However, after looking the sword over the guard is very loose and the tip is split open most like due to a poor forge weld. The guard of the sword was also sticking out of the side of the box upon receipt.

This sword is amazing. It feels very solid, like it is one piece, which cannot be said for other swords I have purchased from other retailers. Everything from the pommel to the guard to the blade are all very straight and well aligned. The folded metal pattern is exceptional and a very nice, dark contrast. I am extremely happy with this sword. It is everything I hoped it would be. The scabbard quality was also a nice surprise. I didn’t expect much, but it is very functional. The scabbard seems to be made of an 8 or 9 oz leather, so it is nice and stiff and holds the sword well.
